Peter DiMaggio

About Me


Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Peter DiMaggio (he/him) is a passionate actor and multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter/composer. A self-taught musician from a young age, Peter has acquired comprehensive skill and experience on piano, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, ukulele, harmonica, and even the cowbell. Peter began his acting training at Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan and then went on to receive his BFA in Acting from Boston University. He has also received a Certificate in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. As a composer, Peter has written original music and lyrics for multiple shows including Max’s House, a one-act musical which had its debut at the Tank NYC and is currently gearing up for a midwest regional tour. He also scores for film, most recently composing original music for The Fairy House (Another Age Productions).

As an actor, some of his favorite stage credits include: Joan and Edgar Booth’s productions of Once (Guy) and Shakespeare in Love (Henslowe). Peter will be making his regional theatrical debut in Actors’ Shakespeare Project’s production of Romeo and Juliet (Paris+Sampson/Romeo (U.S.)) in Boston, MA. He is also starring in multiple independent short films debuting later this year. Peter has immense gratitude for his mentors, friends, and family for supporting him throughout his artistic journey.
